The hometown of honorable Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is celebrating and thanking the commencement of C.B.I Investigation of Ankita Bhandari Murder case, the government who took years to probe an investigation didn’t take much time to start its advertising, not just an advertisement but a celebration carried across the hometown of C.M Dhami by beating drums and by carrying the hoardings across the towns which thanks C.M Dhami for getting C.B.I involved.
Raped and murdered for refusing extra service to a VIP Ankita was found a week later at Chilla canals barrage, only after discovering her body the regular police took charge from revenue police. But the authorities did not take much time to demolish the premises where she was raped and murdered. The very next day Ankita was found, the premises where the heinous crime took place was bulldozed and torched on the orders of Renu Bisht, the sitting MLA of that time.
It took about three years to convict Pulkit Arya son of a BJP leader Vinod Arya owner of the Vanantra resort where Ankita was employed, raped and murdered, and his two associates Ankit Gupta (Assistant Resort Manager) and Saurabh Bhaskar (Resort Manager), more than three years to probe a C.B.I Investigation but not even three days to celebrate the order of that investigation. Urmila Sanawar after three and half years has alleged that the VIP in question is none other than the National General Secretary of BJP named Dushyant Gautam.
It is high time to think where we are headed to as a nation, where rapists are being set free , commencement of an investigation of heinous crime which should not have happened in the very first place is being celebrated and boasted about the government, the government which is not only responsible to stop these crimes but when happened take action against it. But instead we are celebrating the mere order of an investigation , thanking the government for that in place of condemning them. It is said that one only rises above when hits the bottom of the sea, but it seems like the government has decided to measure the unchartered depths of the ocean, as to how low they can stoop, minister competing against each other to find a new level of derogation.
In this kind of background can parents, family of Ankita and people who really cares expect a fair investigation and name of the VIP who is responsible and the main culprit for rape and murder of Ankita.
